Orange Ginger Sour


  • 2 oz Wheated Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Orange-ginger syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz Red wine

To make the orange ginger syrup:
Heat 1 cup of water until it comes to a boil. Add in 1 cup of sugar and stir until fully dissolved. Add in fresh orange peel (about 1 whole navel orange), 2 cloves, and 1 small hunk of fresh ginger. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and let cool before use.

How to make

Add all ingredients except red wine into a shaking tin. Add ice and shake until tin is frosty. Double strain into a coupe glass. Slowly pour red wine on the back of a spoon so that it creates a floater on top. Enjoy!
