- 1 1/2 oz Uprising Single Malt Whiskey
- 1/2 oz blackberry syrup
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz turbinado syrup
To make the blackberry syrup:
Combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water and 3 oz of whole blackberries (approximately half a container) in a pot. Simmer for 15 minutes on medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Crush blackberries and let simmer for 1 minute. Strain and let cool before use.
To make the turbinado syrup:
Bring 1 cup of turbinado sugar and 1 cup of water to a simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Cool before use.
How to make
Shake and strain over fresh ice in rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel and a blackberry.
