- 2 oz Uprising Single Malt Whiskey
- 1 oz cold brew coffee
- 3/4 oz stout syrup
- 2 dashes of aromatic or chocolate bitters
- egg white
To make the stout syrup:
Pour 8 oz your favorite Irish-style stout into a pot. Add 8 oz of dark brown sugar along with 1 clove, 2 allspice berries, 1 star anise (whole), 1 cinnamon stick and a fresh orange peel. Slowly heat all ingredients over low-medium heat until sugar has dissolved. Strain and cool before use.
How to make
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Dry shake until egg white has become frothed. Add ice to the shaker. Shake the double strain into a coupe glass or over a large cube in a rocks glass. Garnish with ground espresso.
